Restaurant Hood Cleaning Prices

There is no honest flat rate for hood cleaning, because no two exhaust systems are the same. What we can do is explain exactly what drives the price, so you can compare quotes properly and spot a bid that is too cheap to include the ductwork.

Below: Restaurant Hood Cleaning Prices — explained the way our crews handle the work in the field, written by the Enviroclean Works team in metro Atlanta.

What determines your price

  • Number of hoods and total linear feet of canopy
  • Length and complexity of the duct run, and whether access panels exist
  • Fan type and roof access, including how the crew reaches it
  • Time since the last cleaning, first cleanings on a neglected system take longer
  • Cooking type, solid fuel and heavy fry lines load the system faster
  • Service frequency, quarterly and monthly plans cost less per visit

Why the cheapest bid usually is not

A price well below the market almost always means the duct and fan are being skipped. You pay again in a failed inspection, a higher insurance premium, or a fire the carrier can deny because you have no compliant service record.

Frequently asked questions

Do you charge extra to remove the fan?
No. Fan removal and cleaning is part of a complete NFPA 96 cleaning and is included in the quoted price.
Is there a discount for a maintenance plan?
Yes. Scheduled monthly, quarterly and semi-annual customers pay a lower per-visit rate because the system never gets badly loaded.
Do you charge for access panels?
Panels needed to reach otherwise inaccessible duct are quoted up front, before any cutting, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
